Operations Specialist

Pay: $55,000- $65,000 Depending on Qualifications and Experience
Location: Fort Morgan, Colorado or Greeley, Colorado

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepares management reports and general ledger reconciliations, which includes approving charge back items (overdraft) and adjustments to clear suspense accounts.
• Oversees the effective support of all assigned back-office operations.
• Complies and maintains the documentation of policies and procedures.
• Maintains the Central Records Operating Guide.
• Identifies improvements in the records management activities of the Organization and makes appropriate recommendations for improvements to be implemented.
• Oversees and/or performs daily processing duties on the mainframe.
• Completes all tasks of the Item Processing Department. Provides oversight, coaching and training to other members of the Item Processing Department.
• Oversees and/or performs document print processes either on-site or outsources along with distribution to customers including statements, daily reports, and notices for various applications.
• Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
• Five to ten years of similar or related experience
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial and statical data.
• Ability to review legal opinions regarding general operations and recommend appropriate action.
• Demonstrate knowledge of industry rules and regulations related to Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Customer Identification Policy, Truth in Lending, Regulation CC, Plastic Cards, and Funds Availability, etc.
• General capabilities in the use of personal computer-based business application software.
